They battled to a 1-point match in the regular season.
They battled to a 2-point match in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship.
Now, No. 11 Hamilton Southeastern and No. 7 Fishers meet for the third time on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Noblesville Tennis Sectional.

The winner advances to Saturday’s 10 a.m. championship against the Hamilton Heights-Noblesville winner.
Fishers, which seeks its first girls sectional tennis title, defeated HSE 3-2 in the regular season on May 3 and 45-43 in the HCC meet last Saturday.
At Carmel, the host Lady Greyhounds meet Westfield at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, and University and Guerin Catholic collide in the other match.
The Carmel Sectional championship will be decided at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
Regionals are May 22 and 23 (times TBA).

Making His Pitch For Pennies For Patients

Young Luke, a cancer survivor after winning a battle against leukemia, is on a mission to help find a cure for blood cancers. This week, Hamilton Southeastern High School is participating in its 2nd Annual Pennies for Patients campaign. Pennies for Patients supports The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission and works towards finding a cure for blood cancers, as well as improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
This campaign is being led by Jack Andritsch, senior cross country and track runner whose brother Luke was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 3 ½ years old. Luke underwent daily chemotherapy for 3 ½ years. He is now a healthy 2nd grader at Geist Elementary.
Luke threw out the first pitch at the Westfield-Hamilton SE game on Tuesday; he’ll throw out the first pitch Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the HSE baseball game vs. second-ranked Zionsville.
Luke, who even went around with a can to seek donations at the softball game, and his friends will also run an exhibition 100-meter dash at Friday’s Mudsock Track & Field meet vs. Fishers at HSE.
Spectators at the events can make a difference in the lives of those facing blood cancers by donating spare change.
