Courtney Osborn Sets School, MAC Scoring Record

Hamilton Southeastern’s Courtney Osborn, a 2009 graduate and the school record holder for girls scoring with 1,307 points, set a Mid-America Conference

point record last week as her Miami RedHawks defeated the Akron

Zips 95-85.  Courtney made 14-of-25 shots from the field and 6-of-8 3-pointers

in a 48-point effort.  Her 48 points set both a school record and MAC record.

HSE’s Kie’rra Jones Earns Honors At Purdue

Kie’rra Jones, Hamilton SE, class of 2011) is currently the middle blocker at Purdue University. Last week,
Kie’rra was named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week and Co-Freshman of the Week for the second time.

FISHERS

Current Fishers seniors David Duba and Andrew Pensinger joined three other FHS distance alumni (Jacob Banitt & Ryan Wells, ’09 and Grayson
Marrero, ’11 ) in being named IATCCC Boys Cross Country Academic AllState.  In addition, junior Colton Heiniger was recognized as IATCCC Academic All-State Honorable Mention.

HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN 

Justin Roeder, Cross Country, Class of 2005: Justin was chosen to the USA Triathlon Developmental team. Only 20 athletes are selected each year, with the main focus being Olympic development.

Olivia Holden, Soccer, Class of 2009: Olivia is starting for Georgia College (Milledgeville, Ga.) with a 2-0 record in the Peach Belt Conference in Division 2.

Tim Dather, Basketball , Class of 2011: Tim has recently been selected to be one of the managers of the Men’s IU Hoosier Basketball Team. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, the coaching staff asked him to be part of a group that will run the opponents defense in practice to help the Hoosier prepare for upcoming games.

Rebecca Romaine, Soccer, Class of 2011: Rebecca is leading Kenyon College (Gambier, OH) as well as the conference in goals scored with 8 for the NCAC and was player of the week for the conference as a freshman.

Kristin Call, Soccer, Class of 2011: Kristin has started every game as a freshman for St. Francis (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and has 2 goals on the season.
