PLAY BALL!

That Was The Call For Fishers-HSE

Youth Baseball at Billericay Park

Hamilton County Sports Daily

It was Opening Day for the Fishers-HSE Youth Baseball League at Billericay Park.

From a parade to a day full of baseball games (including team/individual pictures) to Kindergarten and Pre-K teams and players running the bases after they were introduced, the annual festivities ran throughout the day on Sunday.

There were remarks from Town of Fishers dignitaries, as well as well as Ceremonial First Pitch(es) on a few of the diamonds. One of those throwing out a first pitch was Ronald Nored, a standout basketball player for the NCAA championship basketball runner-up Butler Bulldogs.

The day even provided family games and contests. There was a pitch, hit and run contest, as well as prizes, and Food Court, and numerous vendors were set up in tents that lined throughout the total park acreage.

There were even play areas for the younger kids on the sunny-but-blustery day.
